Our oregano oil originates in the Turkish mountains. Origanum vulgare grows wild there, as nature intended, and is hand picked by local farmers. At those elevations the plants are not exposed to pesticides and other environmental contaminants.

Once the oil is processed, through natural steam distillation where nothing is added and nothing taken away, it is sent to an independent U.S. laboratory. There it is tested for all constituents and certified, 1/: that it does not contain pesticides, solvents, fertilizers or other contaminants and 2/: the percentages of each of the other synergistic chemicals present.
